Sunset 3 February - Emma Shakeshaft

I looked below and I liked the way people didn’t know someone was watching over them. 

I thought that a lot of buildings that I am familiar with at ground level were hidden at this height.  I am going to have to reassess the tops of buildings – I didn’t recognise a few of them. 

It was a quiet, contemplative experience that I won’t be able to do again.  I feel privileged to have been able to give an hour to the city in this way.  Family matters led to me moving away a year ago but I am still connected to the city and its people.  This experience has ensured that.  Thank you for letting me be a vigil.
