Sunset 25 March - Caroline Ullyart

It was particularly poignant to stand over the city in these times of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine.  I couldn’t help myself comparing the two experiences; one for me – one for millions of others in war.  It was difficult not to feel overwhelmed.  I wanted to believe that by praying/meditating/willing war to cease it would help but the ‘triumph of the will’ by dictators has never been stopped by prayer.  I then worked on feeling so grateful (a weird word) that I randomly had peace in my city – I felt like wrapping my arms around anyone who couldn’t feel this tonight. <3 Words are inadequate sometimes.
