Sunset 23 November - Doreen Hampshire

Well, on my 81st birthday I got to see the sunset over the City of Hull.  Certainly a unique experience for me and it certainly kept me very quiet.  A clear night so I was able to see it plainly. 

 
              On my 81st birthday

              Such a treat

              I stood VIGIL over Hull

              Watching busy road and street.

 

              I saw the sun setting

              High up in the sky

              Watching those clouds

              As they went passing by.
