Looking at a city that I’ve lived in for most of my life from an angle that I never have was really special.

An experience enhanced by the fact I was “off grid” and alone with my thoughts.  My takeaways from it were that we live in a cluttered city.  Buildings old and new battling to share the same skyline.  A sign of Hull’s modesty possibly found in the fact all the buildings are cream and grey – no obvious sign of colour to be found.

Make no mistake though, this is a beautiful city and this was an incredible experience!
