Sunset 22 January - Ruby Thompson

Hull is very quiet on this Saturday afternoon.  Unbelievably quiet.  More cars than people.  I couldn’t see many people to witness new stories so I found myself flooded with memories.  I know this place too well.  It’s like being at a relative’s house, comforting and everyday.  I also had the song lyric: ‘Certain as the sun rising in the east,’ from Beauty and the Beast on a loop in my head.
