Sunset 21 June 2021 - LIZ RYMER

I am so happy and grateful for this experience.  It has been cloudy all day and I fully expected it to be less dramatic than it could be, but as I stepped out the clouds had lifted and I was blessed with the most glorious sunset I could have wished for.  On the day that was supposed to be the ‘unlocking’ of lockdown it was a great metaphor – we don’t always get what we expect, but once we release our expectations we get what we desired.  I felt a real connection with the city, the country, the world and in fact the entire universe as I passed my hour and I would happily do it again, over and over.  I will certainly be seeking out more sunsets.
