The sunset of the first day of my 39th year
Amber clouds to the west
Violet hue to the east
Silhouette birds
A formation of ducks
A blinking light on a zebra crossing
Car doors and beeps and brakes
An army of ants carrying goods across
A twig over the Humber
The sun didn’t set, we left it behind.
