Sunset 17 February - Judy King
A very blue sky with the sun just ‘peeping’ through. We had been receiving ‘red’ and ‘amber’ weather warnings throughout the day and I was a little concerned that I would feel ‘movement’ within ‘the box’ – but I did not!
I was transfixed with Queen’s Gardens and the refurbishment planned. I hope they use folk with artistic vision to make it a real centrepiece for the City.
I tried to place all of the recognisable buildings and was surprised when they were not where I thought they should be. I could not see Hull Royal Infirmary which is always a landmark.
I am pleased I plucked up the courage to take part in the VIGIL – but it was so much more than ‘The Sunset’.
