Sunset 10 November - Jenny Preston
Once the school rush had gone, it was remarkable how quiet the city was. Many ambulances with sirens and lights to track across the city.
At times it felt like the Richard Scarry busy books of my childhood – spot the man changing his bike chain, how many white phone boxes, the police helicopter, the charity lorries.
Above all, a peaceful, contemplative hour, bookended by a lovely chat with my Companion.
