Sunrise 26 September - Daniel Taylor
I approached this with very little expectation of what it would be like or how I would feel during the hour I was in there. The days leading up to it had some beautiful sunrises so I was hoping I could at least witness that. True to Hull it was a murky grey morning which felt quite apt and on reflection gave a calm stillness that made it a very peaceful hour. The time rolled past slowly but constant, and the familiar buildings of the city centre looked rested. I enjoyed seeing the city from this unique perspective and will cherish the experience. But as is so often said in Yorkshire, “Shame about the weather.”
