Sunrise 22 February - Lucy Ellyard

What a luxury, to take an hour out of our busy lives to stand and look out of the window across our beautiful city of Hull.  Such a wonderful skyline with the old buildings blending with the new.  After the initial spotting the landmarks and sites that I recognised, I enjoyed watching the city come to life, with people going about their business.  I sat in the middle, halfway through, turning east and west and thought about the events in my life over the last 36 years when I was last in this building as a student.  So many places I could see I have visited, worked in or shopped in!

Lovely to see the Humber Bridge in the distance, a welcome sight from another perspective when returning home.  A wonderful privilege – thank you X.
