Sunrise 21 February - Sam Fowler
It was windy and I could feel the shelter wobble a little – made me almost anxious – I got used to it and forgot.
Everything changed and shifted so much: almost too much to take in. I found that when I looked down at the streets and dinky buildings that my thoughts turned mundane – I went for my phone a few times out of habit – once to buy something off Amazon! When I looked up at the sky my thoughts were more meaningful – my mind more spacious – the sky was almost Turneresque and a never-ending show of light and greys – the blue came through eventually and it made me laugh. I got giggly – I amused myself that I got giggly and I wanted to run up and down – I didn’t though!
The hour went quickly and I would do it again and again. An interesting way to watch and experience time passing. The sky is wondrous and intimidating – I will look up more today.
