What a privilege!   

The morning was wild and windy and the wind speeds needed constant checking! 

As the clouds were low and racing across the sky I thought I wouldn’t be in luck but suddenly the sky cleared, so I watched with great pleasure the sunrise in its full glory! 

I had expected to enjoy the view across Queen’s Gardens the most and spotting all the landmarks but I was much more drawn to looking east along the river.  I have so many memories of the docks with my dad as a child. 

Such a mix of buildings new and old all mixed together.  Commuters driving into the town for work.

The hour passed very quickly!
