Sunrise 14 March - Susie Steel
I am reminded of moving to this place – our adoptive city – very much a place we love. I can see Vickie Dock where we first landed and got our bearings. The Humber giving us a real sense of place and time.
I watch the oyster shell sky morph to brilliant blue as figures in high-vis jackets change to work-clothed people with giraffe-long shadows.
I wonder at the busyness so early in the day – a time I try to avoid getting up to see, normally.
A privilege to have this view of the city – one I would only get usually in holiday mode.
