Sunrise 14 August 2021 - LEANNE AYRE

I found myself, somewhat unexpectedly, in the shelter this morning.  No blazing sunrises like before but a steady calm of a city waking.

The noise was most noticeable, the seagulls almost deafening at times as they cried for attention.  Queen’s Gardens seems somewhat of a sanctuary for all creatures this morning and the tentacles of the Kraken at the Maritime Museum waving in the wind has lifted my very soul.
